Rule tier: a domain-specific #@# exception from the force engine cancels a default-engine generic rule. Served from sub.test-adblock.com. Our arm stages this rule through FilterManifestOverride (Adblock.ReleaseTests CosmeticTierFixturesTests); no shipped list has it. The staged default list carries EasyList's ###AdRectangleBanner; the staged force list carries sub.test-adblock.com#@##AdRectangleBanner. Brave merges both engines' exceptions and applies them to both engines' class/id selectors (cosmetic_filters_js_handler.cc:765-771, :287-288); Brave measures it with the exception as a custom filter.
Expected in both modes: visible. Its control, cosmetic-tier-domain-exception-control on test-adblock.com, must read hidden.
Expectations are Brave's verdicts, stated in pages/cosmetic-fixtures.json (ENG-2306); until Brave is measured they are hypotheses. The status line mirrors the Standard expectation.
